DON'T:
Break the law by driving your mini-moto* on roads, pavements, beaches or in parks.

Cause alarm and distress to others through illegal use of a mini-moto.

Risk losing your driving licence. Illegal use of a mini-moto could mean a ban from driving, even if you don't have a licence yet.

Cause injury to yourself and others by driving mini-motos on pavements and roads in your neighbourhood.
DO:
Drive your mini-moto on a legal site.

Contact your local police or local authority to find out the location of your nearest mini-moto track. Also see Here where I have gathered a list for you!

Drive safely. You should wear safety clothing including a helmet.
Safety:
Make sure you are supervised by an adult at all times when riding your mini-moto, and always wear correctly fitted protective equipment. This includes:
- a quality helmet meeting ACU standards
- good quality leather gloves
- knee sliders
- sturdy high top shoes or boots.

Mini motos are designed for only one rider — do not attempt to ride with more than one person on your bike.
Bike Safe
There is also a network of UK clubs offering training and safe riding opportunities for mini-motos. Details can be found from the Auto Cycle Union at www.acu.org.uk.
